Sirens: Photography by Liz Cockrum Opening Reception Sat. June 27th @6pm

This Saturday, June 27th, there is an opening reception for Cardiff local Liz Cockrum's series called Sirens at the Eric Phleger Gallery in Leucadia (828 N. Highway 101, Leucadia). If you haven't stopped by the Eric Phleger Gallery make an appointment to check it out. Eric is a guy who knows his art and is very interesting to talk to about the works in his gallery. (760-436-1440)

As a Beacon's local, Eric has been working hard to bring fine surf art to our community and has put his heart and soul into this gallery to do that. He's got plans to feature more local artists as well as artists from the art world at large.

This show that features Liz should be very interesting as she has been shooting the various aspects of the woman aquatic. She has a very interesting style and point of view that draws you in and keeps you looking. Stop by the reception from 6-8pm to meet Liz and check out her work.

You can also check out her website www.lizcockrum.com and blog lizcockrum.blogspot.com.
