Family, friends and flowers showed up to celebrate Kit Horn's life yesterday at his memorial paddle out. It was a classic day at Beacon's with surf to be had, the bluff lit up with wild flowers and the beach filled with love for Kit and the memories of his life and legacy.
It's never easy to say goodbye, and yet, as surfers we have found a way to it in a way that both celebrates life and the the memory of our friend we have lost.
Here's to you Kit, your life is remembered.
